The ADB TA team conducted a one and a half day in-person training workshop for the officials of the Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Electricity Department, Goa (EDG). The training covered the following key modules:
- Introduction of Solar Rooftop PV Technology
- Policy and Regulatory Framework for Solar Rooftop PV Technology
- System Design, Interconnection and Safety
- Inspection, Metering and Commercial Settlement
- Metering and Commercial Aspects
- Single Window Clearance Portal
The training sessions were delivered by Mr. Arvind Karandikar, Mr. Ranjit Chandra. More than 130 officials of GEDA and EDG participated in the training workshop. Key Guests included Mr. Nilesh Cabral, Energy Minister, Govt of Goa and Mr. Sanjeev Joglekar, Member Secretary, GEDA.
