Andaman and Nicobar Islands Electricity Department Online Training

As a part of the ADB TA programme, the ADB TA team conducted a 2-day online training workshop for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Electricity Department (A&N ED). The training workshop was attended by 28 grid engineers from the A&N ED.

The training covered an overview of solar PV sector, major components of PV system, site feasibility and due diligence, grid interconnection, inspection and settlement, and the Unified Solar Rooftop Portal developed for Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Key guests included Mr. Jigar Bhatt, Senior Project Officer, ADB, Ms. Madhuri Shukla, EE, A&N ED, Mr. Ajit Kumar B, SE, A&N ED and the chief guest, Mr. Binay Bhushan, Secretary, Power, A&N Administration.
